The Libertarian Party of New Brunswick proposes a significant reduction in the size and scope of provincial government. In Phase 1, we will eliminate wasteful and redundant departments, refocusing on core functions that protect individual rights and property. This will involve streamlining 15 existing departments into just 5, including Justice and Public Safety, Transportation and Infrastructure, Environment, Indigenous Affairs, and a scaled-back Office of the Premier. Other departments will be decentralized to local governments, eliminated, or merged with existing departments. By streamlining government, we aim to reduce waste, decrease taxes, and empower individuals and local communities to thrive. This bold reform will mark a significant shift towards a more efficient, effective, and libertarian government in New Brunswick.
